The urgency of international law in resolving paniai cases to realize just and civilized humanity

Abstract
Paniai, a serious
violation of human rights, occurred because of acts of violence by law
enforcement officers against Paniai Papua residents until now has not been
resolved by the government. This study provides a solution to the Paniai case
based on international law. This research uses library data, while the data
source is secondary data, namely data obtained through library materials by
collecting from various reading sources related to the problem being studied.
This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis. The result showed that
international law is used as the basis for rules for resolving cases by
countries in dispute, and its implementation must be based on regulations that
contain all human rights to protect every human being from crimes.
