A sociological study of domestic violence against men

Abstract
In society, victims of domestic violence are frequently limited to one
gender. It's thought that the victims will be women. Even in modern culture, it
is still expected that the woman would always come out on top in a dispute
involving a male and a woman in the family. This is because it seems that no
one wants to see the other side of the story, or that men in society are hiding
the terrible reality. It's common knowledge that domestic abuse mostly affects
women, yet in many instances, males are also victims of domestic abuse, and
women often torment men. The belief that women are the only ones who experience
domestic abuse has been challenged by recent statistics. It is now also in front
of society at this point. It should be noted that males experience physical,
psychological, or economic violence at home or in society, and that men are not
the sole victims of domestic violence.
